Accountancy and Tax recruitment specialists Clark Wood are currently working with a leading regional firm of chartered accountants who are looking to add a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager to their team in Chester.
This highly reputable and progressive firm have an excellent and ever-growing presence across the North West and they can offer exposure to a broad array of clients.
As a Mixed Tax Assistant Manager, the successful person will be responsible for their own mixed portfolio of Personal & Corporate clients, whilst also providing ad-hoc support to the partners on specialist advisory and consulting projects.
The role will be focused towards tax compliance and you will be responsible for both preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and businesses of varying sizes.
The ideal candidate may be ATT Qualified, ACCA / ACA Qualified, or studying towards CTA Part or Fully Qualified and will have had excellent experience of undertaking both corporate and personal tax work within a practice environment.

Skills:
ATT qualified and/or studying towards CTA
Experience in preparing self-assessment tax returns for individuals, trusts and partnerships.
Experience in Trust and Estate work
Experience in preparing corporation tax computations and company tax returns
Proficient in undertaking research of technical legislation, HMRC manuals and guidance
Experience in the use of tax return software, ideally CCH
