Cook Team Leader - Ysbyty Glan Clwyd
The Catering team is responsible for producing over 1800 patient meals per day, as well as providing meals for on-site staff. Key responsibilities include ensuring all food safety standards are adhered to in accordance with current legislation and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Cook Team Leader who is enthusiastic, reliable, motivated, and experienced in food production. The successful candidate will work well as part of a team and be able to manage their own time. Working hours are on a 7-week rota, including shifts at 06:15-14:15, 07:30-15:30, 09:15-17:15, and 11:00-19:00.
Main duties of the job
* Preparing and cooking food for patients, staff, visitors, and functions.
* Maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.
* Supporting other units as needed.
Essential skills and qualities include experience in catering for large numbers, flexibility, teamwork, professionalism, and weekend availability. Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
