Overview
Our client empowers people with the skills they need to succeed in life and works to ensure every primary school in the UK has a dedicated library space. Two Project Officers are being recruited to support the delivery of a nationwide programme aimed at increasing literacy for pupils.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support and work closely with Project Managers to deliver a nationwide programme.
* Support school recruitment, delivery of training and creation of resources, booking travel, and supporting in‑person training days and other events.
* Maintain a database of sector partners and contacts.
* Develop and maintain administration systems and workflow processes.
* Travel to London for staff and team days as required (approximately a day a month on average); travel costs are not covered.
Qualifications
* Experience of administration and team support, and use of contact databases and content management systems.
* Experience supporting work with external stakeholders.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Experience working in the education or library sector is an advantage.
