Job Description: Personal Insolvency Administrator
Join our Personal Insolvency team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of personal insolvency technical services.
Responsibilities:
1. Administer insolvency cases, including Bankruptcies, IVAs, and compulsory liquidations, under supervision and in accordance with defined timescales.
2. Gather information on retention of title, secured, preferential, and unsecured claims, with assistance if necessary.
3. Prepare documentation for statutory meetings under supervision.
4. Handle day-to-day correspondence related to cases.
5. Maintain accurate books and records inventories, ensuring their safekeeping, removal, and storage from company premises.
6. Perform data entry and scan case documents as required.
7. Complete banking and cheque request forms to ensure correct handling of estate monies.
8. Adhere to statutory compliance, current legislation, best practices, and company policies under supervision.
9. Maintain and update IPS case diaries and checklists, and ensure continued case maintenance.
10. Assist with general office duties, including scanning, filing, post handling, and answering calls.
11. Attend on-site visits as required.
Reporting, Relationships & Management:
Support Administrators, Senior Administrators, Supervisors, Managers, Senior Managers, Directors, and Managing Directors.
Technical Skills & Experience:
* Proficient in IT tools such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
* Maintain high professional standards of conduct and practice.
* Self-motivated with a desire to learn continuously.
* Organized with effective time management skills.
* Build rapport internally and externally.
* Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to completing tasks.
