Job Description
* Work closely with children aged 0-5 years, looking after daily needs such as feeding, nappy changing, and toileting.
* Act as a key person to an allocated number of children and their families.
* Plan, provide, and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs.
* Observe, assess, and record children's learning and development progress.
* Ensure standards of health and safety, hygiene, and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
* Maintain the safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with parents and carers.
* Attend regular team meetings and additional training events as identified by the manager.
Requirements

* Qualification: A minimum of a full and relevant Level 3 or equivalent qualification in early years.
* Experience: Previous experience within an early years setting.
* Knowledge: A strong understanding of the EYFS welfare, learning, and development requirements.
* Communication: The ability to communicate confidently and professionally with a wide range of people, both written and verbally.
* Skills: Good organisation and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
* Personal Qualities: A resilient, patient, and hard working individual with a positive and flexible approach.
* Commitment: A dedicated team player who is reflective and evaluative of their own practice.
