My client is a Leading National Civil Engineering Company.
They are presently looking to appoint, on a permanent basis, a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer to work in their Southeast Region which covers the Counties of Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Kent and East & West Sussex.
They specialise in the following sectors:
* Major Highways
* Development Infrastructure
* Bridges and other large Structures
* Water & Wastewater
* Marine & Coastal
* Groundworks
* Piling & Foundations
* Reservoirs
Duties include:
* Setting out roads, earthworks, and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
* Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
* Quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
* Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
* Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client's and business's requirement
* Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
* Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
* Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD
