Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established organisation in Exeter, is seeking a Finance Assistant to support their finance function. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediate start.
Finance Assistant Responsibilities:
* Assist in managing the organisation’s financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal policies.
* Manage day-to-day accounting tasks using Sage, ensuring accurate financial records.
* Support the preparation of financial reports and provide insights to aid strategic decision-making.
Finance Assistant Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Sage accounting software is essential.
* Strong understanding of financial management, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience with Engage MIS is desirable but not essential (training will be provided).
* Due to the location of this role, you will need to have an enhanced DBS check; being on the update service would be advantageous.
