The Role
* Inspire Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the EYFS curriculum to nurture a love of learning.
* Track Progress: Use accurate assessment and tracking to ensure every child makes exceptional progress.
* Build Relationships: Foster strong, positive partnerships with parents and the wider school community.
In the EYFS Lead capacity, you will also:
* Drive Excellence: Model outstanding practice and lead the EYFS team to maintain high standards across the phase.
* Shape the Vision: Contribute to the strategic direction of the Early Years, including monitoring standards and evaluating provision.
* Collaborate: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and provide training or mentoring for colleagues.
About You
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a deep understanding of the EYFS framework and EYFS experience
* Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils.
* Is an ambitious leader (or aspiring leader) who can motivate and empower others.
* Possesses a "no-excuses" approach to raising standards while maintaining a creative, child-centred focus.
