Manufacturing Support Technician — Location: Near Uxbridge (10-minute drive). Salary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annum + excellent benefits. Hours: Full-time, permanent. Start Date: ASAP.
We’re supporting a leading engineering and manufacturing business near Uxbridge with their search for a Manufacturing Support Technician. This role is vital in helping minimise production delays, supporting local leaders on the shop floor, and ensuring work progresses safely and efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
* Diagnosing issues that cause production stops and deciding on quick fixes or deeper investigation
* Carrying out minor reworks within your skillset
* Liaising with engineering, quality control, and production teams to keep operations flowing
* Checking stock, raising repicks, and ensuring tooling is in place at the right time
* Supporting production planning tasks including splitting cards, raising new orders, and releasing jobs
* Raising quality notifications and contributing to improvement projects
* Assisting multiple departments to resolve problems quickly and reduce downtime
About you
* Hands-on experience within manufacturing or assembly environments
* Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across departments
* Calm under pressure with good organisational ability
* Self-motivated team player with the confidence to work independently when needed
* Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage (training provided if not)
