Procurement Manager (CAPEX) - Leading High Growth FMCG Organisation
Location: Home-Based (with regular site travel)

A prominent force in the consumer goods sector is launching a significant capital transformation programme and is seeking a high-impact Procurement Manager to help lead this journey.
This role will take ownership of all Capex procurement activity across multiple UK manufacturing sites. It offers a unique opportunity to shape sourcing strategies for complex, high-value projects, from specialised equipment and civil works to support services. You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, from operational teams to senior leadership, to enhance procurement capability, commercial value, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead sourcing and procurement for capital projects: machinery, engineering services, civil works
* Drive end-to-end project delivery across UK sites
* Shape and implement procurement strategy aligned with capital investment goals
* Support procurement governance, controls, and efficiency improvements
* Develop tools, frameworks, and supplier strategies to optimise spend
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Build trusted relationships across engineering, operations, finance, and leadership
* Champion cross-functional collaboration and influence decisions
Key Requirements:
* Extensive capital procurement experience in FMCG, food, drink, or pharma
* Proven track record in CAPEX sourcing for equipment, civil works, and technical services
* Experience with MRO procurement is a plus
* Ability to operate independently and manage change
* Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple workstreams
* Aspiring to grow into a procurement leadership role
