We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, inspirational and deeply committed Leader of Inclusion, with the role of the SENDCo who will strengthen our leadership team and transform the lives and learning of all our children, particularly those with additional needs.
We are looking for a passionate advocate for inclusion who will work tirelessly to ensure every child is seen, supported and empowered to succeed, helping us to become the very best school we can be. We are equally committed to supporting the successful candidate’s own leadership development, offering opportunities to grow as a strategic leader and make a significant whole-school impact.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and driving our inclusive vision, taking our highly popular school to the next level. You will champion high-quality provision for pupils with SEND, lead strategic development, and ensure barriers to learning are identified early and effectively addressed, while developing leadership capacity across the school.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and developing whole-school inclusive practice in line with the SEND Code of Practice
2. Overseeing identification, assessment, and provision for pupils with SEND
3. Coordinating EHCPs, provision maps and targeted support plans
4. Monitoring progress and securing strong outcomes for pupils with SEND
5. Supporting and developing staff to deliver adaptive teaching and inclusive practice
6. Managing and developing support staff and interventions
7. Building strong partnerships with parents/carers and external agencies
8. Leading staff training and contributing to leadership development across the school
9. Ensuring statutory and safeguarding responsibilities are met
10. Contributing strategically to whole-school improvement as part of the leadership team
