We are looking for a Regional Logistics Team Leader to join the Frontier team, based at Diss, on a permanent, full-time basis.
You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring that goods are delivered efficiently on time and in full. As a critical link in our supply chain, you will manage, mentor, and guide a team of logistics professionals while collaborating closely with various departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency and service levels with a customer-first approach. Your experience and expertise will play a vital role in the development of logistics strategies, optimizing our transportation and warehousing solutions.
The successful candidate will also act as the key link between the logistics team and management, providing hands-on support and guidance to ensure operational targets are met.

About You
Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a supervisory role
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
Excellent logical and problem-solving skill
A high level of initiative with strong planning and organisational skills
High standard of numeracy and literacy and good attention to detail
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Your Role
As a Regional Logistics Team Leader your role will involve:
Directing the logistics team to ensure effective operations and delivery of goods.
Supervising a team of logistics professionals, providing daily direction, coaching, and performance feedback.
Ensuring we put the customer at the heart of all we do
Developing and implementing logistics strategies and best practices to improve service levels.
Monitoring and evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and operational efficiency.
Fostering a collaborative environment by liaising with other departments, such as commercial, procurement and customer service.
Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and directing projects to implement logistics enhancements.
Identifying and resolving operational issues, escalating to the Logistics Manager as necessary.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and promoting a safety-first culture.
Working collaboratively with other departments to meet business and customer requirements.
Coordinating and optimizing transportation routes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, whilst maintaining highest standards of customer service
Planning and coordinating daily workloads, ensuring the timely dispatch and delivery of goods.
Covering operational duties during staff absences or high-demand periods. Providing support cover when required within the existing logistics team
Meeting the delivery of products within timescales requested by the customer
Maximising the use of Frontier vehicles
Working closely with hauliers to encourage cross product line usage and maximise efficient use of vehicles
Communicating logistical issues to customers and stakeholders.
