Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
The Client Insight Manager will lead and evolve a holistic insight approach across clients, brand, competitors and our wider markets. Building on existing foundations, the role will champion new, innovative ways of gathering, connecting and activating insight across the business.
Working closely with senior stakeholders, department heads and fee‑earners across the firm, the Client Insight Manager will proactively identify opportunities, translate insight into clear recommendations, and embed a more collaborative, insight‑led culture that supports decision‑making and growth.
You will be required to:
1. Own and develop a firm‑wide client, market, brand and competitor insight strategy aligned to business priorities.
2. Design and deliver high‑quality insight using quantitative, qualitative and secondary research methods.
3. Synthesise complex data into clear, commercially focused insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
4. Partner with teams across Data, Marketing, Business Development and legal services to identify risks, trends and growth opportunities.
5. Champion innovative insight tools, reporting and knowledge‑sharing to improve how insight is used across the firm.
6. Line‑manage and develop a Client Listening Analyst, while influencing an insight‑led mindset at all levels.

About You
7. Proven expertise across a full range of primary research methods, including complex quantitative surveys and in‑depth qualitative research.
8. Strong experience synthesising secondary research (market reports, competitor intelligence, industry data) into clear insight.
9. Demonstrable ability to present strategic insight and recommendations confidently to senior leaders and executive audiences.
10. Highly analytical and commercially minded, with the ability to connect insight to business priorities and growth opportunities.
11. Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge thinking constructively.
12. Naturally curious, proactive and solutions‑focused, with a strong bias towards action and outcomes.
13. Comfortable managing multiple insight programmes and priorities simultaneously.
14. Strong communication skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, engaging narratives.
15. Confident using tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and AI to support insight delivery.
