Hospitality Manager – Leicester Tigers, Leicester | Full-Time / Permanent

Role Purpose
The overall purpose of a hospitality manager is to ensure the seamless execution of exceptional guest experiences during events and functions hosted at the venue. Responsible for overseeing the various aspects of hospitality, the manager coordinates and optimises services to meet and exceed guest expectations. This includes managing catering and dining services, ensuring high-quality food and beverage offerings, and maintaining the overall ambiance of hospitality areas. The manager collaborates with catering staff, event planners, and facility personnel to guarantee that all aspects of hospitality align with Levy standards and the specific requirements of each event. They focus on customer satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience. The hospitality manager acts as a crucial link between the venue and its patrons, contributing to the positive reputation and success of the events hosted at this venue.

Role – Responsibilities
* Event Planning And Coordination: Collaborate with event planners, organisers, and internal teams to understand requirements and expectations for each event. Develop comprehensive hospitality plans and coordinate with catering, facilities, and audio-visual teams for cohesive execution.
* Staff Management And Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of hospitality staff. Conduct regular team meetings, provide training, and foster a positive, customer-centric environment.
* Catering And Food & Beverage Services: Oversee catering, ensure high-quality offerings, and implement inventory management to minimise waste and control costs.
* Guest Experience Enhancement: Focus on top-notch service and attention to detail; address guest feedback promptly and implement personalised solutions for events.
* Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for hospitality services, monitor expenses, and provide regular financial reports to senior management.
* Compliance And Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards; implement safe and hygienic practices; stay informed on regulatory changes.
* Technology Utilisation: Use hospitality management software for planning, coordination, and guest feedback processes.
* Client And Vendor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners; act as main point of contact for hospitality inquiries.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and lead post-event debriefs to identify and implement improvements.
* Flexibility And Crisis Management: Adapt to changing event dynamics and manage high-pressure situations with contingency plans.
What We’re Looking For / Qualifications
* Proven experience in a similar hospitality or events role capable of managing large-scale events and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Experience overseeing catering operations, menu planning, food quality control, and beverage service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience recruiting, training, and developing staff.
* Outstanding organisational and multitasking skills; proficient in project management.
* Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering high-quality guest experiences.
* Flexible to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
* Up-to-date knowledge of hospitality and event industry trends, technology integration, and guest services.
* Strong problem-solving and financial acumen, including budget management and cost control.
