Vocational Instructor

The Limes College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vocational Instructor specialising in carpentry, to deliver high-quality vocational courses, with a focus on construction-related disciplines from City & Guilds, that equips students with practical skills for employment or further education. This innovative facility will offer construction-related courses leading to City & Guilds qualifications, preparing students for successful careers in the industry.
This position is term time plus 5 INSET Days following usual work pattern:
•Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm;
•Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm.
The ideal candidate will have:
•Proven experience in the construction industry and vocational setting;
•Relevant vocational qualification in construction or a related field;
•Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels;
•Strong knowledge of City & Guilds qualifications and vocational training frameworks;
•Familiarity with health and safety regulations in construction training environments;
•A passion for empowering learners through practical education.
