Job Description
We are seeking a hands‑on, experienced Technical Lead to join our dynamic MSP team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced environments, enjoys mentoring technical teams, and is passionate about delivering cutting‑edge IT solutions to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
 * Lead and mentor the Service Desk and technical support teams
 * Act as the final escalation point for complex technical issues
 * Design and implement modern workplace and cloud solutions (Microsoft 365, Azure)
 * Oversee proactive monitoring, patching, and system upgrades
 * Manage IT projects from scoping to delivery
 * Collaborate with sales and account management on pre‑sales and solution design
 * Maintain and improve client security posture and compliance
 * Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures
 * Ensure SLA adherence and high levels of customer satisfaction
 * Provide support from the Head Office or remotely on client sites
Requirements
 * 5+ years in a senior technical role, with 1–2 years in leadership within an MSP
 * Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, networking, virtualization, backups, and cybersecurity
 * Experience designing and implementing scalable infrastructure solutions
 * Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
 * Strong communication and client relationship management
 * Ability to manage multiple priorities and open tickets effectively
 * Experience in managing & delivering IT projects to completion
 * Must be UK resident with own car available for business use
 * Hands‑on experience with solution design, project delivery, and escalated support
 * Microsoft Modern Work and/or Azure certifications
 * PSA & RMM (Autotask & Datto preferred)
 * WatchGuard Security Appliances
 * Microsoft D365 working knowledge
