As a Retail Assistant, you will: Offer a warm and friendly welcome to our customers. Assist visitors with gift selection and purchasing decisions. Process transactions efficiently and accurately. Ensure the shop is beautifully presented and well-stocked. Share your enthusiasm for our unique range of products and create memorable experiences for our visitors. We are seeking individuals who: Have previous experience in a busy retail environment. Are excellent communicators, able to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds. Working Hours This is a weekend position. The hours are 13.5 hours per week, 7 hours on a Saturday and 6.5 hours on a Sunday. The full time equivalent hours are 35 hours per week. Annual Holidays The full-time holiday entitlement is 31 days per annum, including recognised public holidays.Effective 1 January 2026, a new holiday scheme will be introduced, increasing annual entitlement to 33 days, including recognised public holidays. Training On-site training will be provided in all aspects of the job. Any further training needs will be assessed through the probation period and in annual appraisals. Pension Scheme and Life Assurance All employees can join a Group Personal Pension plan, where theminimumemployee contribution is 3% and themaximumemployer contribution is 9% (asdeterminedby the level of the employee contribution).
