Overview
We are seeking a highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience and strong computer skills to support daily operations across various departments.
The Admin Assistant will provide administrative support to the CEO, ensuring the
smooth running of the charity's operations. The role will involve a range of tasks,
including diary management, correspondence, and event planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage CEO's diary and correspondence
* Maintain accurate records and files
* Assist with event planning and organisation
* Provide general administrative support
* Support stakeholder engagement and communications
* Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required by the CEO
Person Specification:
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities
* Experience in an administrative or similar role
* Full UK driving licence (essential for occasional travel)

* Available to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
* Located in or near Southend-on-Sea
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience
* Previous office or administrative experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally via phone and email
