Job Summary
The Food & Beverage Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage services. This position requires a strong leader with extensive culinary experience and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will ensure that all food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation while managing a team of dedicated staff.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production to ensure quality and consistency.
* Manage kitchen operations, including bars, restaurant, weddings and events alongside maintaining food safety standards.
* Manager and train staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and customer service.
* Develop menus alongside the GM and Head Chef that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all food handling processes.
* Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experiences through exceptional food and beverage offerings.
* Maintain inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
* Lead by example, fostering a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
* Drive service excellence and uphold 4-star quality standards
* Manage budgets, cost control, stock & GP
* Plan and deliver exceptional service for events, banquets, and VIP functions
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to deliver a creative and seasonal menu
* Ensure full compliance with health & safety and licensing regulations
* Continuously innovate to boost revenue and guest satisfaction
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting.
* Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Previous experience as a barista or in similar roles is advantageous.
