Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Salary Range: £86 -£100 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school located in Sheffield (S13). This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced educators and make a meaningful impact on the lives of young learners.
Role Overview:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will provide crucial classroom support across various subjects, helping to deliver high-quality learning experiences. Your role will be integral in ensuring pupils feel confident, motivated, and supported in their development.
Job Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning objectives.
* Assist with classroom preparation, organisation, and management.
* Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
* Support children with additional needs, adapting learning approaches where necessary.
Job Requirements:
* Previous experience working within a primary school setting is desirable.
* A Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with children.
* Ability to build rapport with pupils and support their emotional and academic needs.
* Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
