Activity and Therapeutic Support Worker AA
Daleview is a regional low secure forensic environment which can provide accommodation for 10 males with a learning disability. The unit is funded by four Health Board areas within the NHS Scotland Network: NHS Borders, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Fife and NHS Lothian. We are seeking a highly enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Activity and Therapeutic Support Worker.
Responsibilities
* Plan, organise and deliver a programme of activities in‑house and within the community.
* Be a creative, resourceful, trauma‑informed practitioner and a strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Provide a wide range of activities to interest and stimulate the physical and mental well‑being of patients.
* Promote the philosophy of social inclusion and independence, motivating, guiding and engaging patients in activity programmes using risk‑focused approaches.
Working Arrangements
* Full‑time and part‑time hours available across seven days.
* Salary is pro‑rata for part‑time posts.
* Appointment requires membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencement.
