Full time - 40 hours per week 1 week in 5 call out rota. The Role As a leading Compressed Air Systems provider, we seek an experienced Service Engineer to join our growing team. You will be focused on visiting customer sites in the North of the UK, providing planned preventive maintenance and emergency fault finding and fix call outs, to commercial Compressed Air systems. Experience Required The candidate will be a time served technical professional, and preferred to have a mixture of Compressor field service maintenance and equipment repairs with field overhaul works experience.Professional service engineer with industrial / factory maintenance or similar backgrounds such as Factory Fitter, Automotive Technician, HGV & Crane Fitter/technician, Marine Engineer etc, are all warmly welcomed to apply.Future Training and career development will be provided, to provide successful candidates with an exciting and varied career in an industry sector where you will never again be out of work. Min NVQ level 3, and/or City & Guilds or BTEC ONC/HNC/D Qualifications in a relative engineering / mechanical trade.Fgas qualifications are also an advantage. Electrical and or Controls experience with training records SKILL card ideally supporting EH&S training or outlining your accreditations. You will have extensive previous hands-on experience of Field based servicing and maintenance and be highly capable at fault finding and repairing equipment and able to act on your own initiative in accordance with the company ethos and culture. The ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and operation manuals should be an existing skill. Great teamwork and communication skills are also important both from a client facing perspective and internal regional team cooperation to service contracts and resolve fault find/ fix call outs both quickly and effectively. IPAF or Access equipment Training would be beneficial. The Package Salary dependant on experience of applicant, excellent Basic Salary of £33,000.00 to £47,000.00 per annum, and progressive, dependant on qualifications, relative experience, and application.Additional renumeration includes Overtime, enhanced on call pay, out of hours site attendance bonus and inconvenience pay.Monthly Billable Hours Bonus, health Care Insurance Company Sick Pay, Out of Towns food allowance, 25 paid holidays, rising by an extra 1 day for each 3 years service up to 30 days per annum. A service vehicle, Laptop & Phone will be provided along with a generous Pension scheme. (After a qualifying probation period). Travel within the UK may be required on an ad hoc basis (customer visits, site surveys and to assist with fulfilment requirements) to be defined as part of the role creation.
