We are looking for a Category Manager (temporary contract, 6 months) who will take the lead in driving sales, profitability, and product strategy. This vacancy is due to temporary capacity challenges. Depending on developments, an extension within Machinery or another Category team may be possible.
Your Role
As a Category Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind product strategy, pricing, and assortment decisions, always guided by data, market insights, and customer needs. You’ll report directly to the Head of Machinery Category Team and collaborate closely with Category Managers, Supplier Managers, and Category Buyers.
Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and deliver a category plan aligned with Kramp’s strategic goals.
* Optimize the product lifecycle and strengthen competitive positioning.
* Leverage data and market trends to identify opportunities and innovate.
* Contribute to business plans, promotional campaigns, and cost-saving initiatives.
* Monitor and manage commercial results while ensuring supplier compliance.
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and external partners.
Who You Are
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years in a category, product, or commercial management role.
* Strong stakeholder management and commercial skills.
* Knowledge of the agricultural industry is a plus.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive change and implement new products or systems.
* Strategic and analytical thinker with strong business acumen.
* Excellent planning, communication, and influencing skills.
* Customer-first approach; able to translate customer needs into solutions.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution.
* Data-driven, results-oriented, and proactive.
