We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Nurse to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Foston Hall, a closed‑category women's prison and young offenders institution located in the village of Foston in Derbyshire, England. HMP Foston Hall has a capacity of 350 females aged 18 and over.
As a Primary Care Nurse, you may work in reception, the healthcare department, or on the prison wings, and no two days are ever the same.

Hours
* Monday – Sunday service
* 7 am – 8 pm
* 1 weekend in 3
* Rotations scheduled 3 months in advance
Salary
This is a full‑time position with an annual salary between £34,428 and £41,659, depending on experience.

Candidates are required to have legal right to work in the UK and, due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
* Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse‑led clinics to your patient group while being supported by a multi‑disciplinary team
* Provide outstanding evidence‑based care to patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so care is personalised and informed by what matters to them
* Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links with our partners and stakeholders
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning
* Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, building strong multi‑disciplinary teams

Qualifications Required
* Registered nurse – Adult, NMC listed
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Understanding of the complexities of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working
* A non‑judgemental and compassionate approach
* Excellent communication skills
