Role Overview As a Sales Valuer, you will be responsible for generating and attending property valuations, converting valuations into listings, and helping guide those properties through to sale. You’ll be at the forefront of our new business efforts, representing the Your Move brand with professionalism and market expertise. Key Responsibilities Property Valuations & Instructions Conduct accurate, professional market appraisals with confidence and expert local knowledge Win instructions through persuasive communication, expert advice, and client rapport Provide honest, data-backed guidance to help sellers price their homes competitively Sales Process Involvement Collaborate with sales negotiators to ensure smooth marketing and sale progression Monitor and support listed properties, maintaining vendor contact and securing price adjustments when needed Conduct viewings as necessary and provide insight to support negotiations Client Relationship Management Build lasting relationships with homeowners and landlords across the region Offer ongoing advice to vendors, from valuation through to post-sale feedback Act as a local property expert and trusted advisor throughout the client journey Business Generation Actively prospect for new instructions via canvassing, referrals, social media, and networking Follow up on leads, past valuations, and cold contacts to generate fresh business opportunities Attend marketing events and support local brand presence initiatives Compliance & Administration Ensure all marketing, valuation, and listing documents meet regulatory standards (AML, GDPR, etc.) Keep internal systems updated with valuation outcomes, listing details, and vendor notes Liaise with conveyancers and mortgage advisers to assist in the transaction process Commission & Bonus Structure 7% commission on each listed property that exchanges (payable one month post-exchange) 5% commission on each sale you negotiate (total 12% commission potential on your own listings that exchange) £20 per successful conveyancing completion you introduce £25 per successful mortgage sign-up Working Hours & Benefits Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm Every other Saturday required with day off in lieu Holidays: 23 days annual leave birthday day off Company pension scheme Death in Service cover at 4x basic salary Car allowance : £3,600 per annum Supportive and collaborative working environment with structured training Career progression opportunities within a nationally respected agency Ideal Candidate Profile ✅ Proven experience as a Sales Valuer, Senior Sales Negotiator, or in a property listing role ✅ A strong track record of winning instructions and converting valuations into listings ✅ In-depth knowledge of the local property market ✅ Excellent presentation and communication skills ✅ Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities ✅ Target-driven with a commercial mindset ✅ Full UK driving licence required Why Join Your Move?
