Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse First Line Manager to join our team in Milton Keynes, supporting our customer Waitrose. You will be responsible fo r managing and leading your own team helping to coach, motivate and engage them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full time, permanent position, working any 5 days from 7, on the following shift 22:00 till 06:00.

We’re looking to pay £37,000.00 plus a £3,000.00 shift allowance per annum and offer 33 days annual leave (inclusive bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
* To lead operational activities in your area for the duration of the shift to achieve the work plan on time and in line with budget and KPIs
* Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance
* Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement
* Leading the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation
* Management of the warehouse training requirement and function
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment (ideally a food operation)
* The ability to lead continuous improvement projects whilst demonstrating excellent planning skills
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on maintaining on-site engagement
