Hays Senior Finance are excited to be supporting a key client in the Kidderminster area with the recruitment of a new Management Accountant on a permanent basis. Thepany is a leading UK manufacturer that's renowned for expert craftsmanship, sustainability and innovation. Your new role
You will act as a number two to the Finance Director and play a key role in supporting the business with accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and strategic decision-making whilst leading a small team.
Main duties:
1. Production of management accounts and financial reports
2. Monitor cash flow and support with annual budgeting
3. Support year-end processes
4. Prepare KPI and financial information to aid profitability and business growth
5. VAT reconciliations and submissions
6. Production of relevantmercial analysis margins and pricing
7. Oversight of weekly and monthly payroll
8. Ensurepliance with financial controls and help with the improvement of systems
9. Lead and motivate a small team
What you'll need to succeed
10. Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
11. Proven management accounting experience, preferably gained in an SME environment
12. Manufacturing background (highly desirable)
13. Excellent interpersonal skills and able tomunicate effectively with people at all levels
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
15. Highly proficient with Excel and finance systems (Sage 200 an advantage)
