As a
Mechanical Shift Technician
, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our operating equipment. Your expertise will help us troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and support our operations team in achieving optimal performance. Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul equipment with precision. Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) with minimal guidance. Support operations in equipment setup and train operators in Autonomous Maintenance. Document work orders using our SAP-PPM Plant Maintenance system. Adhere to safety procedures, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and Confined Space Procedures. What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have: Experience:
Previous manufacturing experience is essential. Education:
An Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a Bachelor's/Master's in Mechanical Engineering, along with relevant certifications (CMfgE, CMRT, HVAC). Practical Experience:
Apprenticeships, internships, or co-op programs in mechanical trades. Technical Skills:
Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, machining, and mechanical systems. Hands-On Approach:
A self-driven attitude with the ability to prioritize workloads effectively. Team Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating on improvements. Working Conditions
This is a permanent position with rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, covering 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm. Your salary will range from
£38,800 to £43,600
(inclusive of shift allowance), depending on your experience, along with a performance-related company bonus. Why Mars Wrigley?
