HG Recruitment are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Driver to join our client, Unipart, on a national tramping contract. This role involves working Monday morning to Friday night, covering routes across the UK. You will be tramping throughout the week and spending nights in a modern sleeper cab at service stations.
Pay Rates (PAYE) Days: £17.70
Nights: £18.81
Weekends: £26.56
Night Out Allowance: £25 per night

The Role Driving & Delivering: Operate articulated HGVs (C+E) for national deliveries (forklift-only stock).
Loading & Unloading: Secure all loads safely to prevent transit damage.
Route Planning: Plan routes effectively, adapting to traffic and weather conditions.
Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with site personnel and deliver excellent service.
Compliance: Complete all vehicle checks, report defects, and follow road safety and company procedures.
Requirements Full Class 1 (C+E) licence
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
Understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
Positive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
