At Anchor, we are looking for a passionate and organised Deputy Home Care Manager to join the team at Holmpark, a warm and welcoming care home in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

The Role
As Deputy Home Care Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Home Care Manager with the daily running of the service while helping maintain the highest standards of care and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting the leadership and development of the care team
2. Coordinating staffing rotas and ensuring effective care delivery
3. Monitoring care plans and ensuring residents’ needs are met
4. Supporting medication management and audits
5. Ensuring compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
6. Handling concerns, complaints, and day to day operational issues
7. Acting as the main point of contact in the absence of the Home Care Manager
What We Are Looking For
8. Previous experience within a care setting
9. Leadership or supervisory experience
10. Excellent communication and organisational skills
11. A genuine passion for delivering high quality care
12. Knowledge of safeguarding, care planning, and CQC standards
13. Ability to work well under pressure and support a team effectively
14. Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification desirable
