Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Hainault Forest, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team in Ilford. This position is perfect for someone passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The role involves a variety of tasks that ensure their grounds are presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct general maintenance duties including strimming, hedge cutting, blowing, and operating a ride-on mower.
* Perform detailed landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, grass cutting, weeding, planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal bedding.
* Carry out pruning activities to maintain the health and aesthetic of plants and trees.
* Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with our quality standards.
* Operate and maintain tools and equipment responsibly.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all areas of the grounds are well-cared for and presentable.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.
* Proficiency in using a wide range of landscaping tools and machinery.
* A strong commitment to safety standards and protocols.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
* Competitive hourly rate of £13.15.
