Benefits and Efficiencies Analyst - 32067

We are establishing the Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to drive change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We’re looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. The PMO shapes and optimises project portfolios, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This role offers hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong peer support.
You will be an important part of the PMO, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help our teams identify, value and validate their project benefits.
Team
You’ll join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO), part of the Transformation Team within the Strategy, Transformation and Assurance (STA) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Experience/skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Proven experience in building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability, comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures and encourage consideration of diversity in work.

* Hybrid working location; working location is Hybrid with an EA Office base. Some travel and overnights may be required.
