The Advocate Group are currently supporting a premium FMCG business who are investing in their Category function within a growing channel. As the Category Development Manager, you’ll drive category growth, shopper engagement and customer collaboration across channels
The Role
You’ll partner with commercial teams and key retail customers to deliver insight-led category strategies that create value for shoppers, customers, and the business. From leading range and space reviews to analysing data trends and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the category development agenda and align customer plans with growth platforms.
* Build strong retailer relationships to deliver range, space and visibility gains.
* Turn data and shopper insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
* Drive execution excellence and distribution through the Route to Consumer agenda.
* Enhance shopper understanding to boost conversion and spend across key markets.
About You
* Experience in Category Development or Category Management, within FMCG
* Strong analytical skills with experience of turning data into actionable insights
* Confident building head office customer relationships and influencing cross-functionally.
* Organised, adaptable, and passionate about premium brands and shopper behaviour.
