Job Overview:
The Sales and Operations Administrator plays a critical role in supporting Go Low Carbon’s sales quotation and operational processes. This position ensures that the solar PV sales team are enabled via production of accurate customer quotes, and that project and customer-facing administration is completed in an accurate and timely fashion. The Sales and Operations Administrator is central to smooth, day-to-day departmental/business operations.
This role plays an integral part in Go Low Carbon’s Renewable Energy Team, assisting with the planning, presentation and delivery of multiple projects. Applicants must be intuitive, organised, pro-active and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Support:
* Produce sales quotations (from template models and guidance notes) with accuracy and efficiency.
* Develop a keen understanding of basic solar PV design parameters.
* Maintain customer records and update CRM systems regularly.
* Complete and submit necessary application forms to external parties relevant to solar PV installations.
* Communicate effectively with sales and operations teams who are reliant on quotation production.
Operational Support:
* Create administrative information packs (from template) relevant to project delivery/customer journey/installer enablement.
* Collate necessary due diligence documentation from sub-contractors.
* Create customer handover packs (from template) upon conclusion of installation
* Upkeep CRM system with administrative milestones.
Administrative Tasks:
* Maintain and organise CRM and filing systems.
* Prepare internal documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance paperwork.
* Answer general inquiries via phone and email in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, Word) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho).
* Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Experience:
* Proven experience in sales and/or operational administration, or equivalent administrative roles 2–4 years ideally.
