They are now looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Finance Team on a permanent, full-time basis.
This is the perfect opportunity for a proven finance business partner from a not-for-profit or commercial background with a great leadership style to support our client’s influential organisation.
The Role
As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will set the strategic financial direction for the organisation whilst ensuring good financial management.
Specifically, you will oversee management accounts and planning processes and monitor financial information against the organisation’s business plan. You will ensure that budget holders are supported and enabled in their roles, providing advice, challenging where required and making sure best practice is followed.
As a people manager, you will oversee, motivate and develop your team, whilst leading financial activities and developing the partnering function to ensure success across the organisation.
You will also provide support for finance-related technology and IT applications, supporting change management and system development, and play a vital role in procurement and supplier management.
About You
To be considered as a Senior Finance Business Partner, you will need:
- Proven experience in finance business partnering in a not-for-profit organisation or commercial environment
- Staff management experience in a multi-site and/or hybrid working environment
- The ability to influence, communicate and engage with a wide range of people to obtain required information in a timely and diplomatic manner
- A problem-solver with commercial acumen, intellectual curiosity and a desire to find better ways of achieving goals
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data simply and provide focused feedback in a clear manner
- A self-starter with the initiative and drive to deliver results and make a difference, setting goals and monitoring progress effectively
- An inclusive team player who treats everyone with respect
- A growth mindset and focus on impact and delivery excellence
The Benefits
- Salary of circa £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week required in the office
- A minimum of 26 days’ holiday per annum plus bank holidays
