Sales Coordinator
Location: Irlam, Manchester
Pay: £17.38/hr
Contract: 12-Month Assignment
Hours: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hrs (8:30-4:30 or 9-5)
Hybrid working available after training (up to 50% home-working)
We are recruiting for a Sales Coordinator / Sales Support Administrator to join a fast-paced, customer-focused B2B organisation in Irlam. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in sales support, customer service, order processing, or account coordination who enjoys managing processes and building strong client relationships.
Whether you're an experienced Sales Coordinator, Customer Account Executive, or Order Management Specialist, this role offers valuable exposure to end-to-end account management within a large, structured organisation.
What you'll be doing
Working within a busy B2B sales environment, you will be responsible for managing the complete customer order journey from initial order placement through to production, logistics and final delivery. You will act as a key link between customers and internal departments, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and customers are kept fully informed throughout the process.
This role requires someone who is highly organised, proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and process customer orders via SAP, email, and phone
* Coordinate with production, supply chain, and logistics
* Monitor stock and communicate accurate lead times
* Act as the main contact for customer enquiries
* Maintain accurate order and account records
* Build strong customer relationships and resolve queries proactively
What we're looking for
We're keen to hear from candidates with experience in any of the following roles:
Sales Coordinator / Sales Support / Customer Service Advisor / Account Coordinator / Order Processor / Internal Sales Executive
You will ideally have:
* Experience in a B2B sales, customer service, or sales support environment
* Proven ability managing customer orders and coordinating multiple departments
* Experience working within complex or corporate business structures
* Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems (SAP highly desirable)
* Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
* Confident communication skills and ability to build relationships
* A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach
