Our people are at the heart of our business and we’re recruiting for an experienced Business Travel Consultant who can speak German would also be an advantage but not essential. This role will ideally be based at our Manchester office on a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office and 2 days at home) after an initial training period, and you’ll be part of a rapidly expanding operations team.
What You’ll Do
* Handle enquiries and reservations ensuring that they are responded to professionally, arranging and confirming bookings and building traveller’s profiles to make sure that their needs are met.
* Carry out research for our clients to make sure they get the best deal.
* Process E‑tickets and travel documentation.
* Offer advice and guidance on available options to our clients for each itinerary, including advice on visas, passport requirements and vaccinations.
* Handle refunds and cancellations.
What we’re looking for
* You’ll be a motivated, passionate individual who has previous experience of working in business travel.
* Experience using Sabre GDS, although Galileo experience would also be considered.
* You’ll have an excellent telephone manner, excellent verbal reasoning skills and great attention to detail.
* Confident in dealing directly with our client on a face‑to‑face basis.
* You’ll be happy to work between the hours of 8 am and 6 pm on a rota basis.
