We are a team of engineers, located in Newcastle. From our site at the historic Swan Hunter Shipyard, we solve global challenges. Our work comprises structural steel design, ship equipment and submarine propulsion development.
We are looking for someone with a strong background in engineering, ready to make the step-up into a leadership role. The Lead Engineer will work on various design projects, including Cable & Pipe-Lay machinery, and will occasionally spend time at ship / fabrication yard and on vessel.
Qualifications / Skills
* Candidate must be able to complete OEUK medical
* Degree in Mechanical / Marine / Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
* AutoCAD software
* MS Office software
* Able to read Electrical/Hydraulic/Control schematics
* Able to read vessel GA and structural layouts
