Hourly Rate: £13.81 + shift premium
What you’ll do:
* Be responsible for day-to-day analysis and actions aimed at improving process stability.
* Collaborate with the team (Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, Engineering) to ensure all products meet defined specifications.
* Perform regular housekeeping activities to ensure equipment longevity, including visual checks and listening for abnormal issues, reporting equipment failures.
* Offload palettes, replenish raw materials, refill carriages, and minimize waste during routine tasks.
What you’ll bring:
* Relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Maths and English GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
* Good understanding of computer systems such as SAP.
* A positive outlook with a can-do attitude.
* Approachable, able to work well in a team or independently.
It would be an advantage if you also have:
* Experience in quality testing and system operations.
* Knowledge of operational excellence and continuous improvement (white belt training).
* Experience with shift work, including nights and 12-hour shifts.
* NVQ Level 2 in Manufacturing Operations.
* FLT Counterbalance license.
