Overview
Head of Podiatry – The NHS Lothian Podiatry Team is a highly motivated group with a vision of a modern, quality service that places learning at its core, aiming to improve the foot health of our communities. The team is hosted by the West Lothian Health & Social Care Partnership and serves the single system service across Edinburgh, East, Mid and West Lothian.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide transformational leadership to support the change agenda within the Podiatry Service.
* Strategically position the service organisationally alongside the leadership team.
* Operate and manage the service, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Strategic influencing to secure resources and support for service development.
Qualifications and Experience
* Significant experience in operational management of a healthcare service.
* Strong background in professional development and staff mentoring.
* Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders strategically.
* For this regulated role, current membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required; if not a member, an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and will be deemed satisfactory before appointment.
