We’re working with a growing and forward-thinking building services consultancy looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to support their expanding project portfolio.

The Role
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you’ll be involved in the full design lifecycle, working on a range of building services projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery on site.
You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure designs are efficient, compliant, and aligned with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Designing electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarms, and security systems
Producing detailed calculations, specifications, and technical drawings
Supporting projects from concept design through to completion
Carrying out site surveys and inspections as required
Coordinating with mechanical engineers, architects, and other disciplines
Ensuring designs meet current regulations, standards, and sustainability targets
What We’re Looking For
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services (or similar)
Experience within a building services consultancy or similar environment
Strong understanding of electrical design within the built environment
Proficiency with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, or Dialux
Knowledge of relevant UK standards and regulations
Good communication skills and ability to work within a team
