About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and bilingual Tour Guides (English–Spanish) to join our team in Edinburgh. We offer premium cultural and food experiences at different times of the day (12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, and 6:00 PM).
We're looking for friendly, confident, and professional individuals who can create engaging and authentic experiences for our visitors.
Duties
* Conduct guided tours of Edinburgh, delivering engaging commentary tailored to an international audience.
* Share interesting facts, local legends, and historical insights with enthusiasm and accuracy.
* Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and adapting to their interests.
* Ensure the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all participants.
* Stay up to date with local events, history, food culture, and city developments.
Essential requirements
* Fluent or native level of English and Spanish (both languages are mandatory).
* Living in central Edinburgh (not in the outskirts).
* Available throughout December and January (this is a must).
* Availability at least 3 days per week, with days scheduled in advance.
* Proof of right to work in the UK will be required.
* Ability to work as self-employed.
* Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking in front of small groups.
* Positive attitude, energy, and professionalism.
Important details
* No previous experience required.
We provide full guidance and a short practical training before your first tour.
* No fixed hours or guaranteed number of tours per week.
During the low season, there are typically 2–3 tours per week, depending on demand.
* Ideal for students or those looking for an additional source of income.
* The tour script and content are provided by the company – no need to prepare your own material.
