ABC Teachers is currently seeking a dedicated Qualified SEN Design and Technology Teacher to join an outstanding team a unique outdoor learning setting in, Coventry. This is a full-time, temp to permanent position working with students aged 11–19 who have a range of special educational needs in a nurturing, nature-based environment. As our SEN Design and Technology Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering accessible, engaging, and meaningful maths lessons that are tailored to meet the diverse needs of the schools students. Working with small groups in a nurturing and therapeutic environment, your focus will be on helping students build confidence, develop life skills, and achieve their individual goals. Working Hours: - Monday - Friday (08:30am-4pm) - Term Time Only About the role • Teach Design & Technology to students aged 11–19 in small, supportive group settings • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet a wide range of needs, including autism, SEMH, and ADHD. • Build strong, trusting relationships with students to support emotional and academic growth • Work closely with pastoral and therapeutic teams to align academic delivery with each student's personal development plan • Embrace and incorporate outdoor learning opportunities into lessons whenever possible • Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking school culture About the school: • The provision offers a nurturing, outdoor-focused learning experience for students aged 11–19 with a range of special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social Emotional Mental Health, ADHD, and other learning differences. • The school believes that by placing each individual at the heart of their learning journey, they can craft a truly unique and fulfilling experience—one that empowers every student to thrive, embrace lifelong learning, and achieve without limits.
