King's Lynn Town Football Club is an ambitious club competing in the National League North. We are committed to creating an elite football environment and are seeking a forward-thinking, motivated individual to join as a First Team Goalkeeping Coach.
Purpose of the Role:
King's Lynn Town Football Club are seeking to recruit a dedicated Goalkeeper Coach to join our coaching team. The purpose of this role is to plan and deliver goalkeeper coaching sessions, provide technical and tactical matchday support, and help develop our goalkeepers in line with the club's playing philosophy.
The Role:
· Plan and deliver engaging, position-specific training sessions for goalkeepers.
· Provide technical, tactical, and psychological support to goalkeepers during matches.
· Analyse goalkeeper performances in training and games, giving constructive feedback.
· Prepare and implement warm-ups for goalkeepers on matchdays.
· Work collaboratively with the management team to integrate goalkeeper development into the wider team training programme.
· Create and develop individual development plans for each of the First Team Goalkeeper.
· Use video and performance data to evaluate and enhance goalkeeper performance.
· Monitor progress and maintain high professional standards on and off the pitch.
Applicant Qualification/ Experience:
Essential:
· Previous experience coaching goalkeepers in a football environment.
· UEFA B outfield FA level 2 GK Minimum.
· First Aid Certified.
· Strong knowledge of goalkeeper-specific techniques and training methods.
· Excellent communication and organisational skills.
· Reliable, committed, and professional in approach.
· Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
· Experience working with goalkeepers at a semi-professional or professional level.
· UEFA Goalkeeping Coaching Award or working towards higher coaching qualifications.
· Understanding of sports science principles related to goalkeeper development.
