MONDAY TO FRIDAY: 06:00 STARTS
£17.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dudley.

Rates of Pay
* Basic: £17.00 per hour
Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:
* Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
* Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
* Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
* Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
* Deliver flat sheet panels up to two tonne packs
Essential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:
* Hold a valid UK Category CE Licence
* Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
* Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
* Must be able to speak and read a good level of English
* Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills
* Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations
* Effective communication skills
* Previous steel experience is a must
Desirable Experience
* Experience driving any commercial vehicles
* Previous experience with multi drop deliveries
Training
* Industry related training provided throughout
