Fixed Term until 31 March 2027. 36 hours per week.
This role is part of a dynamic transformation within our People & Culture Directorate. As an experienced HR Adviser, you will help shape the future of our organisation by advising managers and staff on policy, employee relations and employment legislation.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and guidance on terms and conditions of service, employment legislation and organisational policies.
- Support managers in conducting investigations, ensuring compliance with Once for Scotland, NHS Fife policies and best practice standards.
- Assist with the new HR Service Desk and enquiry portal to deliver timely HR information and support.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with staff and managers.
- Build positive relationships and collaborate across a multi‑unionised public sector environment.
Qualifications
- Degree level education or equivalent operational HR experience.
- Proven record of HR advisory work at a comparable level.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience within a multi‑unionised public sector organisation, ideally the NHS, and partnership working.
- Current or pursuing Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) membership.
