About the role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our Kitchen team. You will be able to support and deliver a smooth kitchen service, while ensuring that a consistent level of quality is delivered to our guests.
Responsibilities
Assisting the culinary team in food preparation and cooking
Cooking and preparing dishes according to the recipes
Following Haccp standards
Maintaining good personal hygiene
Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards
Salary & benefits
Permanent Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
£13.31 per hour

Candidate requirements
Essential :
Level 1 and 2 food safety certifications
Minimum 6-month relevant experience
Awareness of manual handling techniques
Experience of handling kitchen equipment
Experience of dangerous equipment such as knives
Competent level of English spoken and written
Under the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, evidence of eligibility to work and live in the UK will be required should you be invited to attend an interview.
