Mechanical Technical Services Manager
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 5:30pm
G4S Facilities Management is recruiting a skilled Mechanical Technical Services Manager to join our team in Cheltenham.
The successful candidate will manage the delivery and monitoring of engineering services, including planned maintenance, small works projects, and major lifecycle renewals, focusing on hard engineering services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Review maintenance regimes and tasks for best practice and conformance.
* Produce reports to validate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and demonstrate effective service management.
* Monitor and report on Service Level Tests and KPIs, assisting with reporting, planning improvements, and aligning with contract deliverables.
* Contribute to methodologies for assessing asset condition to guide maintenance and lifecycle planning.
* Identify and recommend best practices to reduce costs, improve margins, and gain financial advantages.
* Ensure robust data capture systems are in place and promote data use for asset management and profitability.
* Support lifecycle planning and related projects.
* Assess maintenance implications of projects and non-maintenance activities, presenting impact assessments.
* Support the delivery of high-quality infrastructure services across Hard and Soft services, and participate in Duty Manager on-call rota.
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and customers, ensuring needs are met within the Annual Operating Plan.
* Support HFM team by managing various AP functionalities.
The Ideal Candidate:
* HND in Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in a relevant engineering field
* Operational management of large sites
* Experience in secure and/or critical environments
* Ability and willingness to obtain DV clearance
