Job Description: Job Title: Management Accountant Location: Altrincham (100% Office-Based) Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per annum Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Opportunity: We’re working with a well-established business based in Altrincham to recruit a Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced management accountant looking to grow their career within a collaborative and dynamic finance team. This position is 100% office-based and would suit someone who thrives in a supportive environment where their input is valued at both operational and strategic levels. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of monthly management accounts, including inter-company reconciliations. Supporting year-end close and liaising with external auditors. Producing cash flow forecasts and supporting day-to-day cash management. Delivering profitability reporting, identifying financial trends, risks, and opportunities. Contributing to the preparation of statutory and non-statutory returns, including VAT and other tax submissions. Supporting company Secretary duties and providing financial advice on business decisions. Assisting with budgeting and forecasting. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – Essential. Currently working as a Management Accountant in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel and accounting software skills. Excellent attention to detail, with a methodical and analytical approach. Confident communicator with the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
