Responsibilities
•Support month-end, quarterly and year-end financial reporting – assist in management accounting, budgeting, KPI's and financial statements.
•Maintain accurate financial records and update ledgers via journals.
•Reconciliation of income and income work in progress schedules and undertake invoice project work.
•Communication with external auditors and internal auditors (a team responsibility).
•Liaising with HR and outsourced payroll provider to ensure accuracy of monthly payroll. Prepare bonus calculation, holiday accruals and maintain a monthly reconciliation of SAGE 200 to payroll.
•Provide administrative support and process transactions when required.
•Assist in the supervision of a finance apprentice.
Qualifications/Experience
•Payroll and accounting experience and AAT level 4 qualification preferred
•Advance excel skills – proficiency in functions like V-lookup, SUMIF's, pivot tables etc

Salary package
Salary - £28,000 - £30,000
Holiday: 21 days
Employers Pension contribution – 5% following 3 months probationary period
Location: York Office
